Michelle Lucy, B.A.
Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist
Michelle Lucy earned her Honours B.A. in Psychology in 1996 from Brock University and has been working in ABI rehabilitation since graduation. She has worked as a Community and Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapist since 2004 with an interest in working with seniors. Michelle has been a registered yoga teacher since 2009 and a certified meditation facilitator since 2016. She specializes in teaching restorative, gentle & seated yoga. She also teaches guided meditation, breath work, relaxation & pain management strategies to her clients in conjunction with traditional cognitive rehabilitation therapy. In the community, she assists clients to apply what they learn in therapy sessions with the psychologists, to their everyday lives. Michelle supports and works collaboratively with her clients to develop and maintain home and personal organization, manage day to day demands and stressors, encourage healthy lifestyles, and assist to follow through with physiotherapy and occupational therapy recommendations.
