Patience Ihenyen, BSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker

Patience Ihenyen is a Registered Social Worker who will complete her Master of Social Work degree at York University in October 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from York University and an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care from Niagara College.

Patience has experience working in child welfare, hospital mental health, and community-based settings, supporting children, youth, adults, and families. She has also supported individuals living with acquired brain injuries and those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, family conflict, and life transitions.

Patience uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is committed to providing person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care in a safe, compassionate, and confidential environment where clients feel supported in achieving their goals.
